DTC SVO Fuel Sump Electric Boost Heat Add-On

This kit will add quick electric heat to the fuel sump heater included in our DTC ugrade kits. Our standard sump heater kit comes with a 1/2 plug in the bottom which can be easily removed and allow the brass fitting and glow plug to be installed in its place. The thermostat is installed on the side of the metal sump chamber to control temperature between 90 to 150 degrees F. Only comes with items shown in picture. Does not come with all wiring or relays required to complete installation. If you have purchase one of our DTC upgrades most of those items are already included for you.

Adding electric heat will shorten the time needed to switch to SVO after starting up on diesel fuel (dual tank systems). For single tank systems with a sump heater it will allow you to start up on straight vegetable oil at a lower temperature.
