1979 Mercedes 450SL, Running Problem

My 1979 Roadster runs good until it warms up, then dies when you let up on the accelerator. Any info about this problem will be appreciated.

Check warm up regulator

I would start with the warm-up regulator. This is an expensive part so I would have the problem diagnosed by a competent mechanic before throwing parts at it :-)... Kent

Also, I would check out the air-slide valve. But, I'm not an expert...My 79 450SL is sitting in the garage...not running...LOL cory

I should have mentioned that this car has been in a shop for months. The invoice says: "Cleaned gas tank and lines, replaced fuel pump and regulator, replaced fuel filter, replaced fuel distributor cleaned system again and replaced filter and replaced top half of intake. Still dies when let off accelerator suddenly."
