Until now there has not been a complete inexpensive kit for the DIYer to overhaul their own vacuum 3/2 valve assembly. Most of these assemblies I see on old diesels are totally shot and desperately need a complete overhaul. The challenge was to find just the right vacuum hose to make all the sharp bend hose connections without kinking. We have two kits available. One with 2 white valves and one with 3. The only way you will know which one you need is to look on your valve cover or remove the black cover and count. Do not order by year and model alone. This kit is a 2 VALVE KIT and not only contains all the parts you need, but the instructions give detailed explanations on inspecting, testing, fabrication and installation.
Kit includes the following:
- 2 new white plastic 3/2 valves
- Adequate special hose to fabricate all new internal 3/2 hoses
- New rubber multi vacuum connector - genuine Mercedes
- 1 vacuum Y connector to be used for testing or as replacement elsewhere
- 1 rubber end plug to be used for plug testing
- 12 inches of vacuum hard line to be used anywhere needed
- Complete illustrated wire-bound instructions - so they stay open on your workbench!
