After much prodding by his two sons (who just happen to be in the filming business), Kent has deciding to fully commit to producing a series of technical videos on troubleshooting and repairing older Mercedes. Each will be approximately 3 to 8 minutes in length. His goal will be to take some of the mystery out of solving common mechanical problems that most owners face.

To help you save even more money we are now offering our STC conversion components for sale separately. If you have already installed one veggie oil fuel conversion you may not need the instruction manual set nor even need all the bits and pieces. You may even want to design your own conversion around just a few of our components or upgrade an existing conversion for better performance.

Here is the list of components you can purchase separately. Just remember when you do it this way you will not be received complete instructions. Which means you really need a working knowledge gained from previous conversions you have done:

DEFINITION: This kit is required to upgrade an existing Mercedessource STC 100 and STC 1000 conversion to a cold weather dual tank operation.  These components can be used for both Single and Dual tank conversions when you need to operate in colder weather. The main purpose of this kit is twofold. 1. It will add coolant heat throughout the system to allow the vegetable oil to flow easier to the engine. 2. It will give you the option to add a second diesel tank for startup and purging during cold weather.

During these rough economic times we want to help everyone save some money. No better way to do it than convert your Mercedes diesel to run on free waste cooking oil. Our 1000 series WVO conversions are custom fabricated and fully pre- assembled. That means this unit is ready to bolt in the engine compartment of a 123 chassis diesel right out of the box. That includes the 1977 to 1985 240D, 300D and 300CD, as well as the 300TD wagon from 1979 to 1984. It will not bolt into some 85 model wagons with the hydraulic suspension tank mounted behind the drivers side headlight. PLEASE NOTE: This kit ONLY INSTALLS into the models mentioned above. We are NOT able to custom build this for other chassis.  It is just too costly for the labor involved.

The STC 100 builders kit is the heart and soul of all our vegetable based fuel conversions. Its key VFM (Veg Fuel Manager) component is central to every kit we offer.
