PLEASE NOTE: THIS IS NOT A PRODUCT, JUST INFORMATION WE WILL BE PROVIDING ON THE WEBSITE. STILL UNDER CONSTRUCTION! This question could well be the number one request we receive from new customers. The question seems to be popping up frequently now as many people are buying these old diesels for the first time hoping to convert them to run on alternative fuel. It is a great idea and can be a rewarding endevour IF you find the right car to begin with and are willing and able to repair it yourself.
Kent has packaged together four of his most popular signature series products that will allow you to service, overhaul and tune your diesel fuel injectors yourself. All together these are key to helping you understand how your fuel injectors work, how to inspect and clean them, how to install new performance Monark injector nozzles, and how to balance tune them for maximum power and fuel effeciency.
These include the following items: Click on each one to read more.
Fuel Injector Pressure Bench Tester
Running badly means poor performance. It happens sooner or later to EVERY diesel owner. The word "performance" is often used to describe how well a diesel engine runs once started. The principles discussed will cover all Mercedes diesels from the mid 1950s to the mid 1990s. Throughout this manual I will use this word to discuss a number of common problems. How performance is rated can mean different things to different people. In the following pages I will relate diesel performance to the following four criteria:
• How much power does it produce?
• What kind of fuel economy does it deliver?
• How smooth does the engine run?
• How much does the engine smoke?
These thin shim washers can be added to an existing injector shim to meet the thickness required to increase release pressure. Buy using a thicker shim along with 1 to 3 thin shims you will be able to make a number of different thicknesses within the 0,20 mm range. This kit contains six each of thin 0,20 mm washers.
These thin shim washers can be added to an existing injector shim to meet the thickness required to increase release pressure. Buy using a thicker shim along with 1 to 3 thin shims you will be able to make a number of different thicknesses within the 0,10 mm range. This kit contains six each of super thin 0,10 mm washers
If you are adjusting your injectors and your pressure reading is low you may only have to add one or two of the thin washers to bring the pressure up to spec. If your pressure reading is too high you will need to go down in thickness by choosing a think shim you have available and adding 1 or 2 thin (or any multiple you like) ones to build the thickness required. We also supply thin washer sets in 0,05 and 0,20 mm sizes.

You are looking at the worlds first production diesel mechanical fuel injector bench tester available in the U.S. for under $200. These are built in Mercedessources own shop to control quality and production demands. This bench mount tester will allow you to economically test the spray pattern and fine tune (balance) your fuel injectors at home. With the injector fitting included it will work on all Mercedes diesels from the early 1960's up to 1993. It will also work on any mechanical Bosch type fuel injector with adjustable pressure release function - altough you may have to come up with your own adapter to attach the injector to the tester. (manufactured up to the mid 1990s). Assembled with special FLUTTER GUARD pressure gauge to stabilize needle bounce.
Looking for more performance out of your 5 cylinder 617 turbo diesel engine? Would you like smoother starts, more power and better fuel economy? Who wouldn't? If you have done your basic checks and maintenance ie., valve adjustment, compression test, internal engine timing (timing chain), and all filters and are still not satisfied then it may be time to do our Ultimate turbo diesel Tune-up. Not only does this kit contain the parts and tools you need it also contains complete instructions written by Kent Bergsma that will help you during every phase of the tune-up. He even includes (at no additional cost) instructions on the one key adjustment you can make that almost always increases power during acceleration from a stop.
Keeping your injectors clean and tuned is one of the best ways you can improve mileage in a diesel. Buy both Kents new manual Diesel Fuel Injector Cleaning and Testing Procedures and his Top Brass Custom Cleaning Tool Kit and save!

Cleaning out your glow plug holes from excess carbon (coke) can increase fuel economy and will extend the life of your glow plugs. This important regular maintenance procedure is commonly neglected and will lead to rough starts, smoke at startup, decreased fuel economy, and engine shake.

DEFINITIONS:
This will save you both time and glow plugs. This reamer works better than any other available on the market. I am so excited about my new reamer that I want every Mercedes applicable diesel owner to have one in their tool box. After spending years reaming out carbon from pencil glow plug holes I finally decided it was time to develop a better reamer than what is currently on the market. The Mercedes factory reamer is a well made steel unit from Germany but is mounted on a universal joint and is cumbersome and floppy to use on most Mercedes diesel engines. You end up paying $85 to $100 for this factory reamer for a feature that is very seldom needed or used. The other common glow plug reamer on the market is housed in aluminum stock and they do not hold up well over time.
FITS THE FOLLOWING 116, 123, and 126 chassis. If you are new to our website and have a 1977 to 1985 Mercedes Diesel (NOT including the 201 chassis 190D) we would like to welcome you with this special kit containing our most popular do-it-yourself diesel maintenance items to learn how to fix your diesel yourself. It applies to all 240D, 300D, 300TD, 300CD and 300SD models made during that period.
Here is what is included
In all my life of working on hundreds of different cars I have never seen an engine eat spark plugs like the 103 engine. If your engine burns oil (usually due to hardened valve stem seals) then the problem can be even worse. If you engine just quits while your driving and won't restart (and you are sure you are not out of fuel) just change the plugs before wasting time and further expense chasing the problem. You can not believe the number of testimonies I have received about this. People can just not believe it could only just be spark plugs! One customer spent over $1000 on parts before I finally convinced him to change his spark plugs... and he was a car guy!
Fits 124, 126 and 201 chassis - 124 Chassis 300E 2.6, 260E, 300E, 1986-1992, 126 Chassis 300SE, 300SEL, 1988-1991, 201 Chassis 190E 2.6, 1987-1993. As these popular six cylinder engines age we are finding they need more than just a set of plugs and normal tune up. To run smoothly and produce the power they had when new, they really need our ULTIMATE tune up kit and instructions. Our kit is more complete and has more goodies and information in it than any tune up kit offered on the internet. The tips and tricks included in our instruction booklet can not be found in any other manual and may be worth the price of the kit by itself!
This is an illustrated guide of what I believe are the 75 most important items you should inspect, service or repair on any older 115, 116, 123 or 126 diesel Mercedes. Even though not specifically written for the 201 or 124 chassis many of the principles will apply to these newer chassis diesels.
