You are looking at the worlds first production diesel mechanical fuel injector bench tester available in the U.S. for under $200. These are built at the Mercedessource shop to control quality and production demands. This bench mount pop tester will allow you to economically test the spray pattern and fine tune (balance) your fuel injectors at home. With the injector fitting included it will work on all Mercedes diesels from the early 1960s up to 1993. This includes chassis 110, 115, 116, 123, 126, 201 and 124 and models 200D 220D 240D 300D 300CD 300TD 190D 300SD 300SDL 350SD.

We receive a large number of emails from customers complaining about small fuel leaks at the fuel injector housing (coming out the threads between the two halves). To fix this high pressure leak requires taking the injector apart and "lapping" the mating surfaces. Seal is by metal to metal contact. There is no o-ring or gasket inside the injector.
This kit includes three grades of fine sandpaper and complete lapping instructions. In some cases of very slight fuel seepage a special anerobic sealant can be used to stop the leak without taking the injector apart. We include a small tube of this special sealant along with tips on how to use it successfully!
This little inexpensive kit is guaranteed to save fuel and put a smile on your face!
Troubleshooting an annoying shift problem must first start with the vacuum modulator. This vacuum control unit mounted on the side of the transmission must be tested and adjusted to specs BEFORE you move on to other adjustments. Unfortunately this can not be done by guess or by feel. There is a pressure port on the side of the transmission that you must tap into and connect to a pressure gauge. The engine must then be started and the modulator adjusted to a set pressure for that specific transmission. It is not a difficult job with the proper test tools and information, and can be done in less than an hour. Too much pressure and abrupt shifts will occur. Too little pressure and you may experience slipping or flaring during shifts. My kit with help you do all the above with ease.

If your shutoff valve is leaking oil or is not shutting off quickly (even with a good valve and proper vacuum applied to it) you may need to remove it for repair. You can adjust its travel with the items included in this kit. Comes with 2 new gaskets, proper gasket sealant and instructions for adjustment. Does not come with instructions on how to remove and replace the valve but that is done is readily done by removing the four bolts that hold the valve to the back of the injection pump.

This rubber mount is often torn up, oil soaked or just plain missing. It sits right behind the center of the oil pan on a number of models listed above. I have often see the entire assembly removed. Check first to see if your engine has one before ordering. Its intended purpose is to minimize engine torque roll during acceleration and reduce harsh engine shake.

Glow plugs do not last forever. I have found they generally need to be replaced about every 2 years for peak performance. If your diesel starts hard when cold, or starts but runs rough for 30 to 60 seconds before smoothing out, or the glow dash light flashes right after startup, then it may be time to replace the glow plugs. They should be replaced in sets unless you have the odd failure of just one fairly new plug.
Fits the following: 126 chassis 300SDL 1986 and 1987 and 124 chassis 300D 300TD for model year 1987 only. This kit includes 6 new Bosch glow plugs and Kent's Glow plug removal and replacement manual. This can be a tricky job but with Kent's manual you will have them replaced in no time!
Here are the correct size metric nuts with built in shoulder washer. If you drop these in behind the injection pump you may never find them. When doing glow plug service it is always a good idea to have some spare nuts on hand. New Bosch glow plugs do not come with new nuts. You can always use your old ones - provided you do not lose them! Shipped as a set of 10 packaged in a zip lock bag.

This o-ring has to be tough enough to handle the high heat at the injection pump. If you see oil leaks around the area of the rack damper (located on bottom at rear of injection pump) then replace this o-ring. Also recommend when replacing the rack damper with the upgraded bolt. If you have not done the job before, it can be very frustrating trying to figure out how to even get to the glow plugs. Our DIY manual will guide you step by step through the replacement process. This Bosch Duraterm Glow plug relay will work on all later 123 Chassis 240D (1981-1983 ONLY), 123 Chassis 300D 300TD 300CD Turbo models(1981 to 1985 ONLY), and 126 chassis 300SD Turbo(1981 to 1985) that utilize pencil glow plugs. This may be one of the best upgrades you can make to get your engine to start up and run smoother in the morning. (Does not work with the 116 chassis 300SD or ANY 1980 models). Bosch has designed this relay to stay on for a short period after your engine starts, thus helping ignition and combustion for those first couple minutes. You will get smoother starts and less smoke. This is a great redesign.
