Lets face it! Diesel automatic transmissions can be troublesome, particularly those models that use vacuum to control shifts. This is largely due to the fact that diesel engines don't produce vacuum naturally. It has to be artificially manufactured. This is what makes diesel transmission tuning difficult. The numerous vacuum and pressure controls that were added to make it shift properly can create all kinds of problems when they fail or get out of adjustment.The big challenge in writing the manual was to clearly explain how to get all these controls working in harmony for the transmission to operate at peak efficiency.

If your shut off valve is leaking oil or is not shutting off quickly (even with a good valve and proper vacuum applied to it) you may need to remove it for repair. You can adjust its travel with the items included in this kit. Comes with 2 new gaskets, proper gasket sealant and instructions for adjustment. Comes with instructions on how to remove and replace the valve but that is done is readily done by removing the four bolts that hold the valve to the back of the injection pump.

This unique kit is designed to help you repair and restore one broken down front seat bottom so common in the 116, 123 and 126 chassis Mercedes built from 1973 to 1991. And it can be done without taking the upholstery off the seat! The seat must be removed from the car and placed upside down on a work bench. You work with hand tools to install the included hardware from the underside of the seat frame. Average repair time is 2 hours for one seat. No special tools are required other than a grinder if you need to cut one or more of the reinforcement springs included. Included are 15 full page step by step instructions (with 50 pictures) on how to remove the seat, fix the broken springs, beef up weak areas, test the repair, and install the seat back in the car.

This SLS manual was written specifically for 123 300TD wagon owners, but also applies to the models mentioned above, 300TDs from 1979-1985 and other chassis above up to 1990. If you own or are planning to purchase one of these popular wagons, I guarantee at some point you will have to deal with the SLS (Self Leveling Suspension) system. PLEASE NOTE: If you have a 1987 to 1995 124 chassis wagon this manual will only cover basic principles of troubleshooting. You are looking at the worlds first production diesel mechanical fuel injector bench tester available in the U.S. for under $200. These are built at the Mercedessource shop to control quality and production demands. This bench mount pop tester will allow you to economically test the spray pattern and fine tune (balance) your fuel injectors at home. With the injector fitting included it will work on all Mercedes diesels from the early 1960s up to 1993. This includes chassis 110, 115, 116, 123, 126, 201 and 124 and models 200D 220D 240D 300D 300CD 300TD 190D 300SD 300SDL 350SD.

If you work around your Mercedes much this is a great tool to have. The quality is exceptional for the price. It will reset to measure in both inches and millimeters. For a limited time I will even include a spare button battery at no extra cost.

If you are going to test and tune your diesel fuel injectors this is a must have tool! It is the best way to determine the current thickness of the pressure adjusting shim washer in each injector and to help choose the proper replacement. We are committed to helping you service and overhaul this critical maintenance component. Digital caliper is six inches in length.

If you are going to change a water pump on a 103 engine you will need this tool or you may never get the pump off. The hours wasted can lead to extreme mental meltdown (I speak from experience :-) ). Access and clearance is so tight that a normal 3/8 inch drive extension and universal will not work. This is a quality set of tools put together for you to work right from the start. The socket is Craftsman and the extensions and universal with adapter are Stanley. Partial instructions included.

This tool comes only with instructions to get on and to remove the water pump bolts. It DOES NOT come with complete instructions on removing and replacing the pump. Those instructions are in the works and will be available soon.

FITS THE FOLLOWING: all 123 chassis coupes, sedans, and wagons from 1981-1985. New OEM door lock actuator (element) for replacing the leaking one that is keeping your door locks from working properly. Works only on the 5 cylinder turbo engine from 1978 to 1985 (116, 123, 126 chassis). 300D 300TD 300CD 300SD. Does not work on some 1985 models with trap oxidizer (air cleaner mounted off the engine). If you own or have owned a 116, 123, or 126 with a 617 turbo diesel engine for any length of time you are probably very aware of the air cleaner shake and rattle problem (except 1985 models with trap oxidizer). Rubber mounts loosen up or tear and the mounting brackets seem to break way too often. With this kit and instructions I hope to help you eliminate or at least drastically curtain this common problem. After working on literally hundreds of these engines I have found that just replacing the bracket and the three rubber mounts is not the answer.
