Brand new 02 Sensor removal socket. 3/8" drive with 22 mm 12 point open head. Fits Mercedes 201 190E 2.6 ONLY and 124 chassis 260E 300E 300TE from 1984 to 1990.

02 sensor replacement is one of those neglected maintenance items. They really should be replaced every 100,000 miles for peak engine performance. If left in too long they seize in the threads and are impossible to remove with a standard open end wrench. This special socket will remove even the most stubborn sensors.

Quality breaker bar from Taiwan. 25 inches long, one half inch drive. Is built with chrome vanadium steel construction. The drive head swivels 180 degrees. When working on Mercedes there will come a time when you need a lot of torque to remove a stubborn or very big bolt (like from crankshaft bolt). When this happens you need a LONG breaker bar. Even removing head bolts can create a sweat if you don't have the leverage. This is a very nice tool for the price.

I have never been impressed with the rubber vacuum hose found on older Mercedes diesels. I don't think the engineers ever anticipated how much abuse or how long these hoses would need to last! Over the years I have seen way too many vacuum related problems lead back to a failed hose connector or short hose length. The combination of high heat generated in the engine compartment as well as both internal and external engine oil contamination are the chief causes of its early demise.

Here are the correct size metric nuts with built in shoulder washer. If you drop these in behind the injection pump you may never find them. When doing glow plug service it is always a good idea to have some spare nuts on hand. New Bosch glow plugs do not come with new nuts. You can always use your old ones - provided you do not lose them! Shipped as a set of 10 packaged in a zip lock bag.

This o-ring has to be tough enough to handle the high heat at the injection pump. If you see oil leaks around the area of the rack damper (located on bottom at rear of injection pump) then replace this o-ring. Also recommend when replacing the rack damper with the upgraded bolt. These long reach ball end hex wrenches will allow to get access to bolt heads at a angle from a longer distance. When used the other way the long end will provide an extra length handle for more torque. A must have if you work on Mercedes engines. Sizes include 1.5, 2, 2.5, 3, 4, 5, 6, 8 and 10 mm.

If you are replacing front steering tie rods there are times when the pickle fork will just not loosen up the ball joint. I have had some instances where even a two pound hammer can not break the tie rod joint loose. In that case you will need to use this threading lifting tool. If you are planning to reuse the tie rod then you definitely need to use this tool as it will prevent tearing the rubber boot. If you do a lot of your own work or have multiple Mercedes this is a must have special tool. Comes with simple instructions.

BEST APPLICATIONS: All high mileage manual transmissions to reduce whine and smooth out the shifts. Do not use in automatic transmissions. In many cases this additive will reduce or eliminate rear end whine noise at speed (unless of course you gears or bearings are super worn). I hate whining!

When I was a kid working on old Ford street rods there was no such thing as nitrile gloves and to wear gloves then was considered sissy. Not so today. I would not even consider working on a car anymore without gloves. In fact my hands feel real naked without them. Experience has shown that one glove will not do the job in all cases. I have four types of gloves in my arsenal. Three of them are of the disposable type and one is a more permanent working glove that I call the super glove.

If you have a leaking transmission seal it can be a real bear to get the old seals out without this special pry tool. This tool also works great for front crank seals as well.
