It is hard to believe I have been working on a transmission repair manual for the past 6 years I Just the other day I was looking at an email I wrote to a customer in 2006 telling him the transmission manual should be out by the end of that year! Neither these transmissions nor myself are getting any younger so I decided I had better get my act together and deliver on my promise.

Diesel Fuel Injector Anti Leak Kit w/ Instructions

We receive a large number of emails from customers complaining about small fuel leaks at the fuel injector housing (coming out the threads between the two halves). To fix this high pressure leak requires taking the injector apart and "lapping" the mating surfaces. Seal is by metal to metal contact. There is no o-ring or gasket inside the injector.

This kit includes three grades of fine sandpaper and complete lapping instructions. In some cases of very slight fuel seepage a special anerobic sealant can be used to stop the leak without taking the injector apart. We include a small tube of this special sealant along with tips on how to use it successfully!

This little inexpensive kit is guaranteed to save fuel and put a smile on your face!

61x Diesel Automatic Transmission Modulating Pressure Test Kit

Troubleshooting an annoying shift problem must first start with the vacuum modulator. This vacuum control unit mounted on the side of the transmission must be tested and adjusted to specs BEFORE you move on to other adjustments. Unfortunately this can not be done by guess or by feel. There is a pressure port on the side of the transmission that you must tap into and connect to a pressure gauge. The engine must then be started and the modulator adjusted to a set pressure for that specific transmission. It is not a difficult job with the proper test tools and information, and can be done in less than an hour. Too much pressure and abrupt shifts will occur. Too little pressure and you may experience slipping or flaring during shifts. My kit with help you do all the above with ease.

Welcome to the first inexpensive CIS fuel injector tester for the home mechanic. This bench mount tester will allow you to check the release pressure and spray pattern of your injectors. It will not accurately measure quantity of fuel delivered nor the release balance between the injectors as do the big commercial test units. With a little practice you can get a "feel" for balance by quickly testing all injectors one right after another and analyzing spray patterns. CIS injectors are spraying all the time in your engine. There is no way you can get this hand pump to spray continuously, but by pumping rapidly and can get a fairly good idea just how well each injector is atomizing the fuel.

Bushing that holds fuel injector into the head of the engine. These get very brittle with age. If you are planning on removing your fuel injectors I highly recommend you order these to have on hand. Even if you only plan to remove and clean your injectors there is a good chance you may break one or more of these holders. Retail price $6.00 ea.

Holder includes outer 0-ring seal but does not include seal bushing at the top of the injector. These also be hard and lose their seal with age. Failure can cause high speed idle and rough running. CLICK HERE to order these seals separately.

This is critical rubber part that seals the fuel injector to the injector holder. Deterioration can result in high idle speeds and poor engine performance. Unless you have a low mileage car with soft seals, these should be changed when testing, cleaning, or replacing your fuel injectors.

02 sensor replacement is one of those neglected maintenance items. They really should be replaced every 100,000 miles for peak engine performance. If left in too long they seize in the threads and are impossible to remove with a standard open end wrench. This special socket will remove even the most stubborn sensors.

If your key gets stuck or tumbler fails will have to drill out your ignition lock to even move your car. When this happens you are better off buying a complete new assembly. You won't even be able to get tumbler or the black cover cap off your old assembly.

Includes 30 quality red plastic clips, a removal tool and detailed instructions. There are a number of reasons why you would want to remove the center side trim on your older Mercedes. You may just want to clean and detail behind them (it does get pretty dirty back there over the years). If you are repainting your car removing the side trim is a must for a quality job. There could be rust growing out of the holes on the back side of the strips (do not let this go - see my Miracle Rust Cure products). Or you may have one or more loose or damaged side strips. The biggest problem in removing these strips is that the plastic snap clips often come off with the strip hold down pins.

If your shutoff valve is leaking oil or is not shutting off quickly (even with a good valve and proper vacuum applied to it) you may need to remove it for repair. You can adjust its travel with the items included in this kit. Comes with 2 new gaskets, proper gasket sealant and instructions for adjustment. When working on Mercedes there will come a time when you need a lot of torque to remove a stubborn or very big bolt (like from crankshaft bolt). When this happens you need a LONG breaker bar. Even removing head bolts can create a sweat if you don't have the leverage. This is a very nice tool for the price.
