Applies to all Mercedes, PON FIN P55 Pre 1960, 190SL, 110, 111, 112, 113, 114, 115, 108, 109, 107, 116, 123, 126, 201, and 124 chassis. This is a handy kit I suggest for every Mercedes owner - especially those you have cars older than 15 years. Corrosion on the light bulb sockets is the number one reason of the bulb to not work or to work intermittently. If you have had water leak into the trunk of your car the moisture present can make these connections corrode very quickly. The front turn signal marker lenses are also located in a high moisture area. Just try cleaning the corrosion out of a bulb socket. It is tough without the right tool.
I recently found the perfect size round wire brush that will quickly clean the socket in a few turns of the handle. Once the socket is clean I recommend you use electric bulb conductive grease to keep the corrosion from coming back. You only need a thin film of grease for lasting protection. This kit includes a new wire brush and a small tube of dielectric grease adequate for three or four cars. If you need new bulbs be sure and check out our light bulb replacement kits.
