For the past 20+ years, we have promoted H4 headlight upgrades for these old Mercedes. The original sealed beam headlight bulbs lacked light output, and we found them sometimes downright "sketchy" on dark roads, especially when deer were known to be present.

It has been over 30 years since the last Mercedes with Bosch C.I.S. fuel injection was manufactured. If you own a 1976 to 1993 Mercedes gas engine with this type of fuel injection, you may have difficulty finding someone to work on your car. In some parts of the country, it may be impossible.

Kent is a firm believer in using these strong magnets inside a transmission pan to help extend its useful life.
They should be placed toward the rear of the pan as shown in the picture below.

The MOST little known and often overlooked part on the OM617 engine! And when it fails it can affect your engine cooling temp.
Many of these, especially along the bottom of the hard are hard and brittle and will break when removing the panel. Tilt and twist to remove and install in the holde. Sold in a bag of 24.

These transmission pans get "out of shape" due to over-torquing the bolts. That crushes the stops (see below), and when that happens, it is very hard to get the pan seal not to leak. Your best option if you are doing a transmission service is to replace the pan.

These transmissions are now 40+ years old, and with age comes hardened o-rings and seals, leading to what I call "pesky" leaks. They are not bad enough to flow on the ground, but they do leave wetness around the transmission and drips on the garage floor.

New left AND right side upper control arms. They will fit ALL W116 chassis from 1973 to 1980 ( except 6.9 ), and ALL W123 chassis sedans, coupes and wagons from 1977 to 1985.
You must drive this star bit into the head of the damaged bolt with a hammer, but it will hold. The bolt will then need to be replaced. Watch the video below as Kent will explain how it works.

For 300D, 300CD, 300TD, and 300SD built in those years. This thermostat has a very limited supply. You might want to purchase while still available. There is NO substitute.

Getting that oil pressure line off the bottom of the oil filter housing on the 1977 to 1985 240D, 300D, 300TD, 300CD, and W116 300SD is tough. If you break the line or damage the nut, this part is no longer available new.

Finding W116 front seats in even half of this condition is almost impossible. These are amazing for the age. No rips, tears, worn spots, and solid padding. These came out of a 300SD with only 130,000 original miles and have been in storage for ten years.
This OEM thermostat from another engine fits perfectly in the OM617 diesel engine. It does require a special rubber seal, which we include here.

Nice to have a few extra 13mm sockets around. This is the first tool that gets lost when working on old Mercedes. The tall shoulder inside helps to hold the nut or bolt in a position to make it easier to start the threads.
Think age here. Many of these shifters on our classic Mercedes are starting to get loose inside the shifter, and when the old bushings fail, you will get a lot of slop side to side when you shift between gears. Note: These bushings are different from the bushing that go on the shift levers.
If your front seat fore and aft adjustment handle is cracked or broken, we have the right replacement upgrade for you, which is stronger and more comfortable to pull on. This is a beginner DIY job on most seats. You cut and chisel the old handle off and bolt on this new handle.
