This is an “introduction to service” manual that was supplied to dealer service departments to help familiarize them with 1988 models or changes to existing models. There is a ton of good information in this manual that you will not find anywhere else (including wiring diagrams).

The parts in this little kit will do two things.  1. Protect your climate control push button panel. 2. The system will get more accurate readings from the climate control sensor on top of your dash.

Why do you need to do this?  Valve clearances are supposed to be adjusted on these early V8s every 10,000 miles. You can imagine why this does not get done! Add to the fact owners can not find the right information or tools and it makes neglect even worse Why not on later model years?

Good used working right side mirror and hardware as shown. It is not perfect so if you are looking for show quality then do not purchase. The rubber surround is very good, with no gouges or wear spots. The chome is good, but then is a very small indentation where my finger is pointing below.

We starting using some of these to plug brake lines while changing out calipers. Then we started using them on fuel and oil hoses. Now we are using them all over the place and keep finding new uses for them on a monthly basis. These are a MUST HAVE! Watch the video below to become a believer!

Kent modified this puller and developed a procedure to remove the front crank seal race so the job could be affordable from the DIY mechanic. This costs less than half the cost of the factory tool.

Cad plating can be expensive but is great for show restorations. If you just want to make those parts on your old Benz look good then this is the closest paint Kent has found to looking like cadmium gold plating. Check out the pictures below of the fuel delivery brackets he did with this paint.

This is a quality aftermarket part and an excellent alternative to a used one. New O.E. is no longer available.

This kit was developed by Kent primarily to fix leaking chrome wheels. The free on-demand video that comes with this kit shows the detailed process of cleaning and filling the corroded areas along the edges of the inside of the wheel to seal them and stop annoying tire leaks.

Brand new aftermarket fuel accumulator for the 1986 to 1991 V8 engines. It is mounted near the fuel filter under the back end of the car and hardly ever gets replaced. What does it do and how do you know if it is bad.

R107 power Hirschmann antenna are no longer available new. It is possible to remove and repair the old Hirschmann antenna if you are willing to dig in and spend time cleaning, adjusting, lubing, etc.

Many of these particular big V8 models are now becoming true collector cars and going up in value at a steady rate. ( especially the 560SEC and 560SL) Most of their fuel injection delivery  (FID) systems are old and tired and have not been properly maintained.

All 380SL, 380SE, and 380SEL owners take note. Even if you acquire a nice 380 like Kent's Cherry you are going to need some or all of these components ( unless of course it was recently done by a competent mechanic ).
