Fits 220D 240D 300D 300CD 300TD 300SD 300SDL
This is a very important maintenance item for all 116 and 123 chassis 617 5 cylinder turbo diesel owners.
New silicone waste gate hose that fits all 617 turbo diesels. This includes the 300SD, 300D turbo, 300CD turbo and 300TD turbo 1978 to 1985. common wear item. This hose is often replaced with a standard rubber hose or fuel hose. That will not stand up to the heat of the turbo.
Fits all GAS ENGINE exhaust systems for W107, W116, W126, W124 and W201 chassis from 1972 to 1995. Gas engine exhaust systems are generally heavier and run hotter than diesel engine exhaust systems. This is a wider and more heavily reinforced exhaust hangar than the standard round type.
New head gasket set. Fits all 5 cylinder TURBO diesel engines only from 1978 to 1985 including 300D, 300CD, 300TD and 300SD. Comes complete with all gaskets only as shown in the picture. Valve stem seals, chain tensioner gasket, thermostat housing gasket, and valve cover gasket are NOT included.

If your pan plug is worn, leaking or rounded off, dont fight it anymore! Buy a new pan plug and copper sealing ring and stop those unsightly oil drips now. This is the small 13 mm head factory pan drain bolt that came on 240D, 300D, 300CD, 300TD and 300SD from 1974 to 1985
For 200D 220D 240D 300D 300CD 300TD 300SD to 1985. This manual is written specifically for the diesel owner who wishes to know more about his engine and to understand how to tune and adjust it for maximum performance.
This "permanent" red threadlocker is probably the best that I have used. It has the best sealing cap and cures rapidly and reliably when confined between metal parts. Use it to lock threaded fasteners, nuts, bolts and screws from loosening.
Excellent used pre chamber as shown for OM 617 turbo diesel engines ONLY. If your diesel engine is running rough with excessive smoke and you have tried everything else it could be your engine's pre-chambers are damaged.
For use on all*** Mercedes diesels 1959 to 1993. BUT PLEASE NOTE THERE ARE SOME LIMITATIONS ON THE LATER MODELS. Test compression on 110, 115, 116, 123, 126, 201,124 AND 140 chassis. Almost ALL models up through 1987 can be tested through the fuel injector hole.
FITS THE FOLLOWING: 116,123,126, 5 cylinder turbo diesels with an air filter on the engine, from 1978 to 1985. Fix that rattling air cleaner housing now.
FITS THE FOLLOWING: 123, 126 Chassis 300D 300CD 300TD 300SD (from 1981 to 1985) with 617 5 cylinder turbo diesel engines. Have you noticed your Mercedes diesel sedan is recently shaking more at idle? Maybe you are noticing new vibrations that were not there before.
Fits 116 123 and 126 chassis diesel engines from 1977 to 1985. This includes the 240D, 300D, 300TD and 300D/300SD turbo engines. This short coolant hose is located right below your engine thermostat housing. Replacing it requires removal of the thermostat housing from the cylinder head.
Fits 123 Chassis 300D, 300CD, and 300TD TURBO ONLY 1981 to 1985 and 116 and 126 300SD models 1978 to 1985 with 5 cylinder TURBO diesel engines. If your 5 cylinder turbo diesel has more than 200,000 miles on it without any major work, it most likely needs new valve stem seals.
Fits all W116, W123, and W126 Turbo Diesel 5 cylinder 300D and 300SD engines from 1981 -1985 as well as M110 6 cylinder engines from 1977 to 1985. This is a brand new Lower engine Oil Pan and Gasket. Remove and inspect your oil pan if it has been badly dented.
Here is another diesel item I strongly believe should be replaced as a preventative measure. Water pumps do not last forever and when they go, it is usually when you are on a trip - right? I feel they should be changed every 100,000 miles.
FITS THE FOLLOWING SOME 115 220D and 240D - all 123, 116, and 126 chassis diesels 1977-1985 Upgrade your diesel to the new style Bosch hand bleeder pump. This clever unit pumps without unscrewing and it does not leak all over the ground.
FITS THE FOLLOWING: all 115, 116, 123, and 126 chassis with 5 cylinder engines. Always replace that valve cover gasket every time you adjust the valves (every 12,000 to 15,000 miles). Will keep those unsightly oil leaks around the valve cover at bay.
FITS THE FOLLOWING: all 116 300SD from 1978-1980, R107 chassis from 1977 to 1989, 123 chassis both gas and Diesel from 1977-1985 and 126 chassis both Gas and Diesel from 1981 to 1991. Also 124 Chassis 260E 300E 300TD 300D 2.5.
FITS THE FOLLOWING: All models PON, FIN, P55, 110, 111, 112, 113, 108, 109, 114, 115, 107, 116, 123, 124, 126, and 201 chassis. Here is my all time favorite gasket maker and sealant. You may already know how I feel about RTV silicone products (I think they should be outlawed!).

Fits W115 W116 W123 and W126 5-cylinder both turbo and non-turbo diesel engines from 1975 to 1985. Check yours for staining around the gasket. Also, check nuts for tightness. These symptoms may indicate a leak. This is an important maintenance item.
Fits 123, 126 and 116 chassis 5 cylinder diesel engines from 1977 to 1985. This valve cover is in good condition with no cracks or heavy corrosion.
Fits 115, 116, 123 and 126 5 cylinder diesel engines (both non-turbo and turbo) from 1975 to 1985. These should be changed every time you remove your valve cover for valve adjustment or other maintenance. Stock up now for a great price on a set of 3.

This gasket should be replaced when you remove the oil cooler housing to replace the main block gasket. These get old and hard and will leak due to age. Easy to do it on the bench. Not so easy to do it on the car.

In a perfect world your diesel would not leak a drop of fluid. Unfortunately, with the age of your vehicle, it may not be economically possible to eliminate every leak. You may just have to live with some leaks.
Applies to all Mercedes: Pre 1960, 190SL, 110, 111, 112, 113, 114, 115, 108, 109, 107, 116, 123, 126 with adjustable valves. We have had a number of requests to provide our customers with a feeler gauge to adjust their valves, particularly on the 616 and 617 diesel engines.
Replacing your oil cooler lines/hoses is a very important maintenance item on your older Mercedes diesel. Getting them on and off though is a different matter!
Fits 115 116 123 and 126 chassis diesel engines, non turbo and turbo, to 1985. This includes the 220D, 240D, 300D 300TD wagon and 300D/300SD turbo engines. Most thermostats only last a few years and should be changed for optimal diesel performance.
Find the bad noise on all diesels 1955 to 1993 with emphasis on 69 to 85.
