Adjusting the power tilting sunroof is not difficult if you have the right knowledge and a couple alignment pin tools. Adjustment is not usually needed if the sunroof is working properly.
Manual sunroofs can have problems too. Just like their electrically operated counterparts, most often they will fail due to lack of lubrication. The number one failure point is a broken T handle. Number two is failure of the roof to close properly due to damaged felt feet and plastic slides.

This is a used kit removed from a W123 diesel 5 years ago and has been in storage. it has the heated filter, fuel heater, mounts, 3 way valves, fuel heater and fuse panel. It is dirty and will need thorough cleaning before installation. You will need addtional hoses, clamps, wiring, etc.
The sunroof transmission drive unit moves the cable back and forth to open and close the sunroof. There are 5 gears inside this unit that transfer the incoming drive from the motor ( high speed) to the final drive moving the cable (slow speed).

These are about as mint as you will find not being new. They are not perfect as they have some dirt on them and a very few fine sand pits in the lenses that you can hardly see. No chips, cracks, or gouges in either the head lights or the turn signal lenses. All mounting tabs are intact.

Not complete. Good for parts. One of the fitting threads in the housing was stripped out and a helicoil inserted but at a different thread pitch. The back of the body plate has heavy corrosion but is till usable. If someone needs parts this could help restore another leveling valve.
This will hold the top of the strut and keep it from turning when removing and installing the 22mm nut.
Install this steel 10-micron filter in your fuel tank outlet hose to protect your fuel pump. Clamps provided along with a pull to plug the fuel hose temporarily to reduce fuel spills.

If your V8 is running hot or temp gauge is moving you may have a bad sending unit. Located at the front of the engine. Easy replace. Drain one gallon of coolant out of the radiator before removing it.
Super clean. Removed from a low mileage 4.5. Look at how clean it is inside and there are no loose timing chain marks. Just clean with solvent, blow off and install. You won’t find them this nice very often.

The motor mount shield may not be the exact one shown. It may be painted or original. No cracks. Not perfect but very usable. If you leave this off your rubber mount will fail much quicker.

When you remove the old sunroof panel (1985 and older) from you Benz you will probably notice that the edges of the vinyl have come loose from the metal strapping. You will allow notice just how dirty it is once you have it out of the car and into the light.
