When replacing the front struts ( shock absorbers ) on a W201 W124 or some W129 chassis it is frustrating and time-consuming trying to remove and replace the big 22 mm top nut on the front struts ( shocks ).
This kit will allow you to remove your old fuel warmer and completely bypass it with the parts and instructions you will receive in this kit.
Mercedes installed small fuel warmers on these engines using engine coolant to warm up the fuel just before it enters the injection pump. The idea is great - especially in cold climates, but in moderate and warmer climates it is probably not needed.
Over the years Kent has used a number of different things to place on top his jack stands to prevent damage and for added security. He has even tried some of the commercially available jack stand plastic covers. Nothing has proven to work better than the special cut reinforced hose shown here.

Removing a Mercedes instrument cluster from any of the chassis listed is easy with these special "pull" tools. Many owners do not realize that the instrument cluster is just pushed into the dash panel and not held in with any bolts or screws.

If you have been around old Mercedes for any length of time, you have probably run into a problem with your ignition key starting to "stick" or one that does not turn. This problem can leave you stranded and could cost hundreds of dollars to fix $$$.
If you are having problems with a sticking key a new tumbler a new tumbler and key may or may not fix your problem.
How can you tell if you have a hole or leak in your exhaust system? What are the symptoms? Can the leak be patched? When will you have to get either a new center muffler or rear muffler or pipes or all three? Can you replace the mufflers yourself and what are the tricks?

A broken radiator neck can be safely repaired if it breaks off cleanly in the center or aft of the center of the neck. If it breaks off too close to the tank or breaks off in multiple small pieces then we advise that you replace the radiator.

The head has been successfully removed. There is quite a bit of work that will need to be done before the head is ready to go back on. The head and the block will need to be cleaned and inspected and parts will need to be ordered. Other parts should be replaced while the head is off the engine.

Distributor neglect is one of the most common neglected maintenance items that we see on the 6 cylinder 103 engine. Just because the engine is running ok does not mean that the parts are not worn out. One day you will get up in the morning and the engine will not start.
If your modulator is working ok, but leaking transmission fluid, you may only need to replace the inexpensive oring ( o ring ). You do have to be careful when removing the modulator from the transmission. For instructions (available separately) see related products below.
