New instrument cluster bulb with socket holder. Sold individually. PLEASE NOTE: This holder is only for the very small warning indicator bulbs, as well as your dash turn signal indicator lights. It is NOT for the larger bulbs that light your dash at night.

30 light bulbs total in this assortment. PLEASE NOTE: These may not be every bulb you will need for every model, but you will have extras on hand. These cars are OLD, and most of the bulbs need to be replaced. They even start to loose some of their intensity over time.
This is an excellent used tail light bulb housing assembly that is not corroded. If you are having problems with your tail light bulbs working intermittently, it may be due to corrosion and bad contacts in this tail light housing. For passenger or right side tail light only.

If you have acquired one of these rugged W123 sedans, coupes, or station wagons and want to learn how to do some of the work on it on your own then here is a good place to start. Learn how to change lights and bulbs. No need to go to a mechanic for this.
Bulb socket round style. Has 3 prongs for US headlights. Make certain your current socket is also round. Good condition, no corrosion.
Front turn signals not working due to a faulty bulb socket holder is a common problem with the W116 chassis sedans. I believe is due to a minor design flaw in the metal part of the holder. If you own a W116 I recommend you fix it now before a front turn signal stops working.
NOTE: these bulb holders are the round style. They have 2 prongs for single element bulb when used with EUROPEAN headlights. You will need these when converting to Euro Headlights. Make certain your current socket is the same.
Very nice used driver side taillight bulb hold complete with attachment locking tabs. Can not guarantee bulbs. If you are having tail light problems with could be the problem (loose wiring and corroded sockets).
Kent has found and tested this newest LED light bulb that you can install on the backside of your instrument cluster to increase your instrument lighting on your older Mercedes. These particular bulbs will be much brighter with a more yellow cast warm white light, and they don't get hot!
To fix burned out lights you have to remove the wood cover around the shifter. That can be the most difficult part, especially if you don't want to chip or crack your nice wood piece.
The long bulb is 1 and 3/4 inches long, and the short bulb is 1 and 1/2 inches long. These bulbs don't necessarily fit all models. Some applications require smaller bulbs, and please measure your bulbs before ordering this 6-pak.
You will need to remove the W126 chassis center console upper wood panel when replacing the climate control switch panel, replacing any of the upper switches, replacing burned out light bulbs and /or when remove the center console or the upper dash.
Anytime you need to replace the side marker turn signal lens or the bulb inside you will need to remove it from the front fender. You will also need to remove it if you plan on pulling the full headlight assembly.

Removing a Mercedes instrument cluster from any of the chassis listed is easy with these special "pull" tools. Many owners do not realize that the instrument cluster is just pushed into the dash panel and not held in with any bolts or screws.

There are a number of things that can go wrong with a W123 instrument cluster.
If both dash lights are not working including the lights in the upper center console the problem is most likely in the dimmer switch located on the back of the instrument cluster. This is also called the potentiometer providing variable resistance in the wiring to the bulbs.

Fits all models 1976 to 1985 with a wood shift cover. 240D 300D 300CD 300TD 230E 280E and 280TE. A very common issue that plagues almost all W123s. The factory pin in the back on the wood shift cover seems to always break off, leaving the wood piece loose in the center console.
