If you have had to remove any of the banjo bolts you can see that those sealing rings are getting quite old... when you see scoring in the ring the ring appears to be crushed, they should be replaced to prevent leaks and to prevent air from getting into the fuel lines.

This OEM thermostat from another engine fits perfectly in the OM617 diesel engine. It does require a special rubber seal, which we include here.
Connect this small filter with attached hoses to the back of the injection pump and to the brown plastic vacuum line going to your ignition switch under the dash. The filter will do two things. 1. Help to trap oil coming out of a leaking shutoff valve before it gets to your ignition switch. 2.

Very good used later OM671 turbo intake elbow as shown. Very straight and no damage. With clamps are seals. Seals are a little hard but still usable. Will NOT fit W116 300SD.

In working on many 61x series diesel engines, I have often found one or more of these clamps missing. Missing or loose clamps are the number one reason for injector hardline crack failure. There should be a clamp like this between every two hard lines to minimize vibration fatigue failure.
This new vacuum pump gasket fits all 4 and 5 cylinder diesel engines from the mid 60's up to 1985 including the 200D, 220D, 240D, 300SD 300D 300CD and 300TD.

Excellent used set of torque converter bolts with correct washers included. These bolts are critical and I often see them replaced with improper bolts. There are six that are required to hold the flex plate to the torque converter on all Mercedes diesel engines from 1969-1985.
New fan clutch. Fits 1986 to 1993 124 and 126 Chassis 300D, 300TD, 300D 2.5, 300SDL, 350SD and 350SDL.

New belt tensioner pulley. Common cause of noise at front of engine when bearing starts to go. Should be replaced at 120K as a preventative measure.
This is that hard to find plastic inspection / access cover that goes on the underside of your 617 turbo diesel engine. Most of the time it is cracked or missing allowing dirt and oil to get into the flywheel area. Easy remove and replace. It just snaps in the hole.

Another High Quality product from Lubro Moly. This is a 300ml can of Motor Oil Saver. It Rejuvenates rubber and plastic engine seals and reduces oil consumption via the piston rings and valve guides; counteracts the loss in viscosity of motor oils.
Here is a wrench I should have made 15+ years ago. I can not believe how much time and frustration I would have saved over the years working on all those 100's of Mercedes diesel engines if I would have done it!
Glow plugs do not last forever. I have found they generally need to be replaced about every 2 years for peak performance.
This size freeze plug fits almost all gas and diesel engines from the early 70s up into the 90s. This includes all 61x and 60x diesel engines, the 103 gas engine in the 190E, 300SE and 300E. It also fits many V8 engines but you should measure your current plug to be sure.
New quality metal gasket as shown. Never try to reuse this gasket during turbo overhaul or replacement.
This is a perfect fit for the O.E. copper sealing ring. You only need one but we sell these as a set of two so you will have a spare.

Correct metric hex bolt to mount the front crank pulley to the crank counterbalance. These bolts become rusty, are easy to round out, and sometimes even break duty to engine vibration. Check the torque of these bolts.
Good set of air conditioning compressor mounting bolts that mount the air compression to the engine. These are long special bolts. Sorry no spacers to washers.
