This is a full 25-minute step-by-step instructional video on how to properly flush or bleed your brake system using our pressure brake bleeder and fluid capture tank.
In this video instruction, Kent will show you how to pressure test your radiator and cooling system using his pressure bleeder tank and specially designed and modified radiator cap.
This video will walk you through the procedure of removing the hyraulic reservoir tank and cleaning it and replacing the low pressure hose from the bottom of the tank to the SLS pump. This is the hose that most often leaks.
Have you ever had a hard time finally a very small coolant leak? Do you find yourself adding small amounts of coolant but can not see any leak? Is there a funny smell coming from inside your Benz when you run the heater?
When used for bleeding or flushing your brake system, a single person can do a rapid fluid flush! No mess and very efficient. Will work on all Mercedes from 1968 to 1995 - Also select 1960's models and most later chassis up to 2006 see list below: 25-minute video instructions are now included.
The FLOW or low pressure method of checking and adjusting injection pump timing does not require a separate pressure tank. With this method you use the hand primer pump to pump up pressure in the injection pump to get fuel to flow out of the half round drip tube included in this kit.
Kent's procedure uses the factory recommended "drip tube method" but with a "twist." He has devised a way to get accurate and consistant IP timing results while trying to get the drip tube to drip at one drip per second exactly when it should!
This tank works amazing! Put in the heavy rear end or trans fluid. Pump up the pressure. Stick the non-fall-out end in to fill hole... and just push on the valve in the handle of the filling wand.
For use on most Mercedes from 1969 to 2006 (see exceptions below)- UPS Ground Shipping ONLY! Buy the complete kit and save $$. This is almost everything you need to do a fast, clean and efficient brake fluid flush on your older Mercedes Benz passenger car.
In this video, Kent will walk you through the steps needed to convert your older Brake Bleeder tank to one that can continue to bleed brake systems as well as pressure test radiators and cooling systems.
The FLOW pressure method can be used to both check and set injection pump timing. Personally, Kent likes to use this method only when checking if the I.P. needs adjustment.
I know that many, including some coil-over sellers, recommend just leaving the original pump and hoses in place and plugging them where they attach to the four struts, but I can almost guarantee you will have problems in the future, either with a noisy failing pump, leaking hydraulics, or a possi
SLS low pressure hose from bottom of reservoir tank to the engine driven pump. Includes 1 meter of heavy duty fuel hose that holds up better to the hydraulic fuel than the old style original braided hose.
This easy-to-operated 2-gallon pressure pump tank will help you fill your 722.9 transmission with minimal mess and fuss. It includes over 5 feet of hose ( 30 inches which are clear so you can see the flow rate.
This one hour long on demand video is included free with the purchase of Kent's OM61x injection pump timing kit. The method he teaches uses his own kit, his custom built pressure tank, and his special IP snake wrench.
In this 24 minute instructional video Kent will explain the process of how to bench clean and test your D-jetronic fuel injectors in your own garage or workshop once they are removed from the engine.
This is a "must-have" kit when adjusting release "pop" pressures on older diesel mechanical fuel injectors. It is the internal spring "shim" thickness that determines the exact pressure required for the release of fuel at the tip of the injector.
Have you dreaded changing the rear end fluid before because it is a pain and ends up being really "messy?" Kent finally decided there had to be a better way so he went to work and came up with the idea of using a simple and affordable custom made pressure tank to "flush" and refill differentials
In this 10 minute instructional video Kent will explain why you want to "jump" your K-jet fuel pump relay, how to do it, how to find the location in you car, and why he prefers to have a long "switchable" jumper.
Another wrench designed by Kent Bergsma and born out of frustration. This could be the weirdest wrench anywhere in the world! While shooting a video on adjusting the injection pump timing on an older Mercedes diesel Kent ran into a big problem.
For use on 220 240D 300D 300CD 300TD 300SD 1968 to 1985. NO INSTRUCTIONS INCLUDED: The tool is meant for someone who has the factory manual or who already knows how to adjust their injection pump timing on the older diesel engines. Injection pump timing is critical for peak performance.
Did you hear these are not available? No part number anywhere? Well, as the source we went to work and made it happen. You can now purchase the correct copper sealing rings for your OM616 and OM617 injection pump delivery valves.
Since new original style pumps are no longer made, this is the best way to finally fix your old fuel pump leaks and poor performance. This kit is designed specifically for the W108 and W109 small V8 sedans.
These are the instructions that come with Kent's brake pad and brake caliper service kit. It is possible to make your own service kit by watching this video. To purchase the kit see related products below. To learn more about the importance of this kit watch the video below:
If you are experiencing minor coolant loss on your older model that has the cap on the radiator, it may because you do not have the correct cap. Not all caps are created equal as Kent will point out in the video below:
This is the type of radiator that will require this cap.
Since new original style pumps are no longer made, this is the best way to finally fix your old fuel pump leaks and poor performance.
Even if your engine is running "ok," but your hoses are 20-plus years old, you should replace them.
Brakes are one of the most often neglected maintenance items on older cars. This is not just related to Mercedes Benz. Most owners don’t realize that brakes need special attention and service not only when pads are changed but every 2 years.
Every one of these pumps I have ever seen needs resealing. The seals and o-rings become just too hard over all those years of use. This is the most complete SLS (self-leveling suspension) pump overhaul kit on the market today.
Many of these particular big V8 models are now becoming true collector cars and going up in value at a steady rate. ( especially the 560SEC and 560SL) Most of their fuel injection delivery (FID) systems are old and tired and have not been properly maintained.
This is the most complete 1970 to 1975 V8 injector repair kit you can find anywhere.
Born out of frustration this twin chamber plastic bottle has solved two of Kent's biggest head aches when brake bleeding or flushing brake systems.
If you have any Mercedes model with hydraulic self leveling suspension from the early 70's up to the early 1990's this is the correct fluid to use. High quality Meyle or Febi Bilstein product. Any other type of fluid can damage the seals and score your pump.
This kit will put a smile on your face, especially if you have done it before the "old way." Watch the video below for full instructions on how to use this kit to do the fastest fuel system depressurization in the world!
Why is this so important? It is primarily due to the age of these cars now and the fact that lurking problems can be hidden from visual inspection. There is not ONE diesel that Kent has looked at in the last five years that does not need this service! Even ones with under 150,000 original miles.
Rough running diesels abound everywhere. The symptoms include poor acceleration, no power, and excess exhaust smoke. Some times these can be a sign of real problems. Other times it may mean your fuel injection system just needs a good cleaning. And NOTHING cleans better than Diesel Purge.
UPS GROUND SHIPPING ONLY. DO NOT order postal or expediated. International shipping not available. If your fluid is old and dark it is time to flush it out. 1986 to 1999 model W126, W201, W124, W140 and W126 with SLS have a smaller tank than the earlier models.
I have used a lot of different clamping tools over the years to prevent fluids from leaking out when removing coolant, fuel, or brake fluid hoses. Most work ok. Some are hard to use in tight places. Many do not stop every last drip from coming out of the hose.
This is a collection of SPECIAL tools Kent has put together to help you grab, twist, and pull on things in and around your Mercedes. He makes each one of these tools right here in his shop.
This kit will allow you to properly fill any 722.9 7 speed automatic transmission as well as other cars that use the underfill method.
