This kit will work on all 115, 116, 123 and 126 chassis diesels from 1969 to 1987. Almost every old Mercedes diesel I see needs to have the motor mounts changed. If you have a mechanic do it for you it will cost an arm and a leg.

If you are planning to install new glow plugs in your 601 engine, 190D from 1984-1986, it is essential that you ream the carbon out of the holes to prevent premature failure of your new plugs.
This tank works amazing! Put in the heavy rear end or trans fluid. Pump up the pressure. Stick the non-fall-out end in to fill hole... and just push on the valve in the handle of the filling wand.

Think age here. Many of these shifters on our classic Mercedes are starting to get loose inside the shifter, and when the old bushings fail, you will get a lot of slop side to side when you shift between gears. Note: These bushings are different from the bushing that go on the shift levers.

Pencil (parallel style) glow plugs usually fail slowly over time. The first signs are rough running after startup. Then you may see a flashing glow plug light on your dash. If ignored over time you engine may not start at all.
Since new original style pumps are no longer made, this is the best way to finally fix your old fuel pump leaks and poor performance. This kit is designed specifically for the W108 and W109 small V8 sedans.
If your transmission is shifting too soon it can really rob your car of power and acceleration. If it is shifting too late it can be very loud and annoying and even affect fuel economy.

One very minor weakness on the W123 is the glove box door. This is because 2 of the key stress points built into the door are made of plastic. One would be the pin holding the latching mechanism ( Kent already has a repair kit for that - see related products.

If your early door lock actuators do not have any cracks in the rubber diaphragms, but they just won't hold vacuum - it may be possible to fix them by taking them apart and cleaning and resealing the outer lip of each diaphragm.
If your fuel level gauge is not reading accurately or the needle jumps around and or your car’s low fuel warning light does not comes on, it is usually a problem with the tubular sending unit in the fuel tank.
