Jammed up steering locks and keys that won't turn can leave you stranded.
Most 1988 to 1993 6 cylinder CIS fuel injection delivery (FID) systems are old and tired and have not been properly maintained. These include the W201 190E 2.6, the W124 260E 300E, 300CE, 300TE, the W126 300SE, and 300SEL, and the R129 300SL.

This video is free with the purchase of Kent's new dash cluster pull tool set. If you just want to see how he uses the tools and some tricks to get difficult clusters out you are welcome to purchase this video separately. Approximate run time is 20 minutes.
How can you tell if you have a hole or leak in your exhaust system? What are the symptoms? Can the leak be patched? When will you have to get either a new center muffler or rear muffler or pipes or all three? Can you replace the mufflers yourself and what are the tricks?
If you are interested to see how easy it is to install a new hood pad, this video will let you see Kent demonstrate the process step-by-step. If you have purchased one of our hood pad kits, then this video can help you get your new pad lined up and installed properly.
When replacing the steering lock assembly in your Benz you will need to remove that little black plastic switch on the side of the lock from the old one and put it on the new part. You can not pry it off, squeeze it off or pull it off by hand.
One of the cheapest ways to fix your worn out W140 blower motor is to replace just the motor. You do not have to replace the entire unit. BUT repairing it this way is not as easy as it may appear!
This kit will allow you to replace the critical worn parts inside the early 603 U.S. made Garrett T3 turbochargers. This kit will not work if your engine has a KKK turbo made in Germany. The only way to tell which turbo you have is by visual inspection.
This the exact puller you will receive. Handy for small jobs.
When pressure testing your KE-jetronic fuel injection, you may find you need a really thin wrench to install the small fitting on the right side bottom of the fuel distributor.
In this 20-minute instructional video, Kent will show you the steps on how you can replace the "hidden bushing" in the rear control arm by yourself without having to take the control arm off the car.
Kent was a little skeptical when you first used this—it sounded like it would be too good to be true. The first use was getting some rusty bolts off the Garrett T3 turbine housing ( some of you know the pain there!). Well, it worked, and it worked very well.
Fits all V6 engines from 1998 to 2005. Kent feels these are the best. Outstanding quality.
The hardest part of the job is the things mentioned above in the subtitle. In this 16+-minute video, Kent will go to some length to explain both on the bench and on the car how to deal with getting the belt off and back on.
You will love this set of long combiination wrenches. Nice plating, smooth surface and thin heads to get into tight places.
ONLY ONE SET AVAILABLE. Three of these wrenches are made by Gearwrench. You get a very long standard combination 13mm wrench, a long 10mm with a racheting box, a very long 17mm with a ratcheting box, and finally, a very long 14mm combination wrench made by Urrea.
This is a short addendum to the full instructions on resealing an SLS hydraulic pump. This will now be included with the reseal kit. Disregard the old method mentioned elsewhere
FULL SET of correct Bosch spark plugs. These are considerably longer than the stock M113 spark plugs and should only be used in the AMG engines specified above. 16 spark plugs only. No other supplies or instructions are included.
Excellent used delivery valve(not scored) and housing nut that mounts on the top of the injection pump. Includes threaded housing, spring, valve body, and valve. A bad delivery valve or valves can cause rough idle, smoke, poor power etc.
We modify this wrench right here in our shop. If a picture is worth a thousand words, what is a video work. Watch the following for a full explanation.
We also carry this in other sizes. See related products below.
In this video Kent will show you how to remove the center wood panel and the climate control switch panel so you can replace the 5 small bulbs behind it that light up the switch panel and the buttons behind it. It is not as difficult as it may first appear if you understand the procedure.
GREAT for glue on loose rubber, loose wood pieces, and even carpet. The best!
In this 7+ minute instructional video, you will learn how to cleanly and safely drain the fuel out of your old Benz.
Fits all 380SL and 380SLC from 1981 to 1985. This flexible fuel hose connects the outlet of the fuel filter to the metal hard fuel line going from the rear of the 380SL to the engine compartment. This hose is hard to install and hard to inspect.
LAST SET WE HAVE. Very good set with good threads all around.
This is a hard-to-find adapter that will need if you have one of the early 1990s 5 and 6 cylinder turbo diesel engines. We machine this right here in our shop and it is designed to work directly with our OM61x compression tester ( see related products below):
This is a perfect fit for the O.E. copper sealing ring. You only need one but we sell these as a set of two so you will have a spare.
This is where this sealing ring is located. On top of the fuel injection lift pump and at the base of the hand primer pump:
Very high-quality steel. Original Napa branded.
This video will cover the use of my custom plastic tool to safely remove the steel center section for the outside aluminum housing with rebuilding your older style SLS ( Self Leveling Suspension) hydraulic pump. No other instructions included here.
These are the 4 long bolts that need to be removed when changing your W126 brake rod control joint on your front suspension. There are two on each side. They do not come in the repair kit so if you bolts are very rusty you might want to have these new bolts on hand before you start your repair.
Kent finally went to work to solve the problem of rusty water pump mounting bolts. Once the problem was studied carefully the solution became obvious. Watch the video for a full explanation and partial instructions below.

I do not need to say much about this tool. Well made and well thought out. Someone who obviously was frustrated at scratching the finish on his or her alloy wheels came up with this idea. Watch the video below to see why this is now my favorite go it 17 mm lug bolt socket.
This is something many owner's and mechanics miss. That little check valve on the side of the injection pump can cause a lot of starting problems on the older diesels.
Many owners are surprised to learn that their early ML's hood can actually be adjusted to go almost straight up. It is not as easy to do as some of the earlier models where you only had to flip a couple levers.
Connect this small filter with attached hoses to the back of the injection pump and to the brown plastic vacuum line going to your ignition switch under the dash. The filter will do two things. 1. Help to trap oil coming out of a leaking shutoff valve before it gets to your ignition switch. 2.
This is a very high quality finish wrench set. The 13mm combination wrench that is 8 inches long. The 17mm has a ratcheting box end great for alternators, bumpers, etc. and is 11 inches long. The 18mm for 1996+ models is also 11 inches long.
If you have a 1969 to 1985 4 or 5 cylinder diesel (except the 1984-85 190D) you may have already noticed it is hard to get the valve cover totally sealed from weeping oil stains coming out the bottom or top of the valve cover gasket.
