It also fits 1977 to 1980 280SE, 450SE, and 450SEL. We only have a few of these custom-machined SL steering locks left. LIMIT ONE per customer. We have been informed that there is no plan to manufacture new steering locks again for these classic cars.

If your 450SL or SLC key is stuck or is sticking, this may be your only option for repair! New tumblers and key assemblies for these cars are no longer being made. New O.E. steering lock with a special tumbler and two keys, as shown. Please note that the electrical switch is not included. If you need the electrical switch, it can be ordered separately. Please see the related products below. IMPORTANT NOTE: Each assembly has to be custom machined in our shop in order to give you a working complete assembly. We do not sell individual parts. The machining is very time-consuming, and each unit is made on demand.
