This is a primary test for doing a physical examination.  You want to do this on any old Benz before spending a lot of money to get the engine running right or before restoring your car. Some are reluctant to do this themselves, but it is not a difficult DIY job. M116 and M117 EARLY V8 BOSCH Spark Plug Set of 8

Best plugs you can get for these early 3.5 and 4.5 V8's AND the only ones you should use.

M116 and M117 LATER V8 NGK Spark Plug Set of 8

Bosch plugs are currently NLA. These NGKs are currently the best solid copper core plugs you can get for the later 4.5, 3.8, 5.0, 4.2 and 5.6 V8's

These will fit all 1976 to 1991 4.5, 3.8, 5.0 and 5.6-liter V8 engines with Bosch C.I.S fuel injection.  PLEASE NOTE: These spark plugs have an aluminum end cap that does screw off. You will receive the plugs with the end cap installed.
