In the video instruction, Kent will show you the step-by-step procedure on how to safely remove the instrument cluster from the dash. It will require our special dash pull tools that can be purchased separately. These will help prevent pulling the plastic face of the cover off of the instrument cluster housing. This is such a common procedure needed, that every W123 owner should have a set of these pull tools along with the knowledge on how to remove the cluster.

This 9-minute video covers pulling the cluster forward far enough to reach in behind to disconnect everything needed (speedo cable, tubing, wire plugs, etc.) to get it out of the car and onto your bench. The video does not cover disassembly or repair of the cluster itself, nor does it cover the details of putting it back into the dash. Since most of that is in the reverse order or removal it is not shown.
