I've got an 84 300cd turbo. My problem is that the "engine kill" switch doesn't stop the engine. Somebody (with some knowlege) has told me that the linkage doesn't look quite right and that the kill switch should be farther from the valve cover. Other issues also play a role in this, apparently I'm not getting full throttle, and my friend thinks I'm probaly shifting a little early. I'm looking for somebody who can tell me the proper linkage distances for everything that connects to the valve cover or to things that connect to things that connect to the valve cover. A digital pic would be great with the different linkages identified. I realize this is a lot to ask for, but am hopefull that somebody can help. Thanks in advance.
