I have a 1980 123 300D non turbo, shut down was acting slightly slow after testing nothing appears to be leaking and pump is producing a strong 23psi, upon testing fuel shutoff valve it shut off under two pumps from mitivac, after testing and re-connecting shut down is excellent but lines are coated with oil. so 2 questions here:
1) is there any way to clean out the hard lines without completely replacing and only replacing the rubber connectors?
2) I have only had this car for 2 months, and unsure of previous maintenance should I be considering replacing valve or just clean lines and see if there is more oil leaking.
Thanks,
Thomas
