Hello, I have a 1984 300sd with 230,000 miles. Did alot of work to it, thanks to Mercedes Source. Anyway, did valve adjustment, compression test
(pressure max out close to 400). Changed injector nozzles to Bosios. Engine does not knock and is a bit smoother and responsive.
Problem: pedal to the floor on highway and will not get past 75 mph?! Sometimes loss of power up hill.
Have not changed the fuel lines from the tank. Is this the possible culprit?

Ah haa!! The vaccuum tube going to the alda had deteriated at the alda metal-connection. Put new tubing on, and away we go!! It sure is nice when a problem can be solved with ease. Normally, it is not like that.
