i am having odd start up/running syptoms. car starts and runs perfect when cold. after warm up, requires 2-3 starting attempts. intermittently will not take fuel after warm start (especially if i continue cranking on first attempt until firing - usually no more than 10 seconds). fuel filters have been changed, diesel purge performed (actually looked pretty clean). car has 241,000 miles and looks to have been pretty well maintained. timing chain is tight. i have not checked compression or installed new injector nozzles yet, but i really don't see how these would be intermittent problems.
when car will not take fuel, all that has been required is to shut it off and restart. then it seems to run fine until it is shut off again. any suggestions appreciated.
