Take a very close look at the picture. These are all the gaskets and seals you will need to replace if you open up your 722.3 transmission that was produced from 1981 to 1995 for all 6 and 8 cylinder passenger cars that had a displacement of 3.0 liters or more. This will NOT WORK in the lighter 722.4 transmissions.

IMPORTANT ALERT! This reseal kit does not include the two orings in the bottom of the K1 and K2 drums that are riveted in place. Many do not replace thes, but we think it is a mistake. Every one of these drums that Kent has opened up recently has O-rings that are hard or broken. Kent has sourced high-heat Viton O-rings, and those can be purchased separately with the basic tools needed to drill out the rivets and install countersunk sheet-metal screws.

722.3 722.4 Upgraded B2 Piston Replacement Kit

These are GENUINE MERCEDES parts except for the cover o-ring. All parts need to be replaced at the same time.

We are learning, as others are, that these parts are becoming a HIGH preventative maintenance item on these old transmissions. A broken or binding B2 piston causes many shifting problems, and as Kent found on his 300E, it destroyed the transmission.
