You can not believe how many problems Kent has seen over the years as a result of the camshaft oiler tube falling off inside the valve cover! It is held on by inexpensive small plastic clips and guess what happens after 15 to 20 years? Yes, that is correct.
Kent will show you the proper way to remove and replace a V8 valve cover gasket so you won't have oil leaks after installing a new one. This is a common maintenance item.
This is a BIG problem! Failure to fix it can shorten engine life by allowing dirt to enter the combustion chambers thus damaging the piston rings which lead to low compression, poor fuel economy, hard starting, high oil consumption and loss of power.
These are the instructions that come with our black engine and chassis paint restoration kit, but they will help you successfully spray paint almost anythings. These step-by-step techniques were developed by Kent over almost 60 years of spray painting cars and parts.

Front turn signals not working due to a faulty bulb socket holder is a common problem with the W116 chassis sedans. I believe is due to a minor design flaw in the metal part of the holder. If you own a W116 I recommend you fix it now before a front turn signal stops working.
The FLOW pressure method can be used to both check and set injection pump timing. Personally, Kent likes to use this method only when checking if the I.P. needs adjustment.
I have always dredded replacing a hood release cable. Finally on the last one I did, I decided to do something about those feelings.
