If your shut off valve is leaking oil or is not shutting off quickly (even with a good valve and proper vacuum applied to it) you may need to remove it for repair. You can adjust its travel with the items included in this kit. Comes with 2 new gaskets, proper gasket sealant and instructions for adjustment. Comes with instructions on how to remove and replace the valve but that is done is readily done by removing the four bolts that hold the valve to the back of the injection pump.

This unique kit is designed to help you repair and restore one broken down front seat bottom so common in the 116, 123 and 126 chassis Mercedes built from 1973 to 1991. And it can be done without taking the upholstery off the seat! The seat must be removed from the car and placed upside down on a work bench. You work with hand tools to install the included hardware from the underside of the seat frame. Average repair time is 2 hours for one seat. No special tools are required other than a grinder if you need to cut one or more of the reinforcement springs included. Included are 15 full page step by step instructions (with 50 pictures) on how to remove the seat, fix the broken springs, beef up weak areas, test the repair, and install the seat back in the car.

You are looking at the worlds first production diesel mechanical fuel injector bench tester available in the U.S. for under $200. These are built at the Mercedessource shop to control quality and production demands. This bench mount pop tester will allow you to economically test the spray pattern and fine tune (balance) your fuel injectors at home. With the injector fitting included it will work on all Mercedes diesels from the early 1960s up to 1993. This includes chassis 110, 115, 116, 123, 126, 201 and 124 and models 200D 220D 240D 300D 300CD 300TD 190D 300SD 300SDL 350SD.

Works only on the 5 cylinder turbo engine from 1978 to 1985 (116, 123, 126 chassis). 300D 300TD 300CD 300SD. Does not work on some 1985 models with trap oxidizer (air cleaner mounted off the engine). If you own or have owned a 116, 123, or 126 with a 617 turbo diesel engine for any length of time you are probably very aware of the air cleaner shake and rattle problem (except 1985 models with trap oxidizer). Rubber mounts loosen up or tear and the mounting brackets seem to break way too often. With this kit and instructions I hope to help you eliminate or at least drastically curtain this common problem. After working on literally hundreds of these engines I have found that just replacing the bracket and the three rubber mounts is not the answer.
WARNING: THIS CAN ONLY BE SHIPPED UPS GROUND within the lower 48 States. Do not order with other items and ask it to be shipped expedited or by U.S. Postal. The best way to take care of your diesel fuel injectors and your fuel injection pump is to regularly use these two products. The diesel purge is run directly into your engine using a bottle and some short hoses (it is not added to the fuel tank). This cleans the gum out of the injectors and pump and keeps them spraying in tip-top shape. This should be done every 4 to 6 months depending on your driving conditions.

When I first saw these from our supplier I thought I would not sell them as they did not match up to the original Bosch O.E. quality. Then I had to hit myself on the side of the head to realize this - for the price you can not expect them to be like Bosch!!! The originals are hard to get and they list for $174.00 FOR EACH SIDE!
I immediately noticed something was not quite right with the left brake light. It was coming on but was not getting as bright as the right side. I removed the bulb holder to find that the running light was coming on with the brake light when the brake pedal was pushed and the the headlight switch was off - and both bulb would only glow dim as you can see in the picture below. Now what do you think would cause both bulbs to glow when hitting the brake pedal. I had seen similar bulb weirdness before so I had a pretty good idea what the problem was. I showed the condition to my wife Linda and she said I should grab the camera and make repairing this problem a subject for a technical tip. You know I married smart!

Here is a problem I see all the time, especially on the 123 chassis. Over time the dash wood or door wood pieces will warp and pull away from the surface. Most of the wood is adhered to the dash at the factory with sticky foam tape. This deteriorates with age and the wood will loosen up or just fall off.
Ever get in a situation where you are having to add brake fluid to the reservoir - but you can not find any leaks at the calipers or don't see any spots on the ground? BEWARE: The brake fluid could be leaking into your brake booster assembly. Yes that is right! Failed seals inside the master cylinder can allow fluid to pass by the piston and out the back of the cylinder. This is a common problem on old master cylinders. Especially if you have recently attempted to pump bleed your brake system after a fluid or component change.

Good used turbocharger coupling that fits between compressor housing and intake manifold as shown. Seals are usable (not hard), but buy new if you are a perfectionist. This only fits the Garret T3 Turbo. Will not fit the KKK turbos. Will not fit 1985 models with trap oxidizer.
