You have asked for it and we have delivered again. Now that all those old power steering pumps are leaking out the front seal we have come up with a kit that will allow you to replace the front seal of your pump at home without any special tools. This kit will work on all power steering pumps on 4 and 5 cylinder diesel engines from 1977 to 1985 (excluding the 190D 2.2).

IMPORTANT NOTE: We do not sell replacement antenna masts by year and model. We have run across too many problems with confusion, interchangeability, and previously swapped antennas. We sell a SMOOTH TAIL mast and a TOOTHED TAIL mast. Smooth tails were used on most of the power Hirschmann antennas up to the early 80's and tooth tails were used on the later masts. For you to order the proper one you must partially remove your current mast and inspect. Is the white plastic tail more or less smooth or does it have teeth in it? The one describe here is the TOOTHED style.

This new shift knob fits all 4 speed diesel transmissions from 1969 to 1983. It is an aftermarket replacement that is made out of hard plastic rather than rubber, so it will not deteriorate like the original style. Good quality at a good price!

Good used left (drivers side) head light and fog light bucket assembly. No cracks or breaks in the die casting. Includes head light bulb but cannot guarantee that it works.
This is the tool I love to use when troubleshooting engine operating temperature problems. You can stand back and aim the beam right on a spot on the radiator or engine to get an exact temperature reading. This can indicate whether or not your radiator is plugged and confirm if your temperature gauge is accurate or not.
If you are running SVO it can give you accurate readings of the temperature of your oil - both during filtering and coming out of your boost heater.

In working on many 61x series diesel engines, I have often found one or more of these clamps missing. Missing or loose clamps is the number one reason for injector hard line crack failure. There should be a clamp like this between each two hard lines to minimize vibration fatigue failure. 2 used clamps are included with correct bolts and nuts.
This lug wrench came with most models from the mid 60s to the late 70's that used the standard hubcaps. The end has a curved tip to allow you to pry the hubcap off.
Complete used 123 wagon backup light. Fits right or left side. Lens does have a single crack in it. We do carry new lenses on this website.

Excellent used oil pump assembly for 617 turbo diesel engines. Pump has been taken apart and inspected for scoring and teeth wear. No adverse wear noted - above average condition

This one is very common and becomming more so as these mechanical oil pressure guages age. When the gauge starts to leak behind the instrument cluster it may take a while for you to notice. (ie - dark black engine oil dripping on your foot). The leak usually starts out as a slow seepage and if you catch it early enough it won't make a such mess. Watch for signs of oil dampness on the underdash panel and in and around the bottom of the instrument cluster. I have found no easy way to fix a leaking pressure guage. You could spend a lot of time messing with it and never get the leak stopped permanently. It some cases it would even require soldering and guess how fun that is when you have oil inside the unit.

Fits all these chassis from 1968 to 1985. For drain bolt on automatic transmission torque converter. For a complete transmission flush the torque converter must be drained separately. Good to have a new aluminum sealing washer on hand during the service.
Front suspension overhaul is almost always left until one has fixed everything else on the car. We know that most owners can live with some looseness in the suspension, especially when you consider the age of the 123 chassis. But if you want to restore that great Mercedes factory feel and ride (that we all love!) there is no short cut but to replace all the rubber and wear parts in the lower section of your front suspension. NOTE: This kit does not include the upper control arms as we have found many have already replaced those as they often fail first.
