I just bought a 300te 1989 and love it. only problem i've had so far is check engine (changed the o2 sensor and hasn't come back on "fingers crossed" and transmission shifts a bit jerky. sometimes it smooth sometimes it a little harsher. when I'm at freeway speed and floor it and it drops down a gear I really get a good kick. also I've tried putting in neutral going around 50. when I put it back in drive I get a good bump. any ideas out there. I was going to start with this modulator valve and try to brush up on the whole vacuum/transmission thing if the modulator doesn't solve the problem.
