Transmission Shift Points

Hi,I recently put in a new transmission modulator valve, the transmission is shifting too soon, should I adjust the modulator valve clockwise or counter clockwise? To get it to shift at higher RPM's? Thanks,

My understanding is the modulator only controls the feel of shift (hard or soft). The linkage and vac valves work together to control time of shift.My SD I adjusted the cable going to the trans to stop it from shifting to soon. Mine has a 5 way vac connector nipple that cracked,and there is no one with that part.So I had to replumb everything myself.
