Hey guys and gals.
1984 300SD
142k miles
I have had it about 8 months
I have changed both fuel filters and purged about 5 months ago.
It has a fairly fresh oil change and filter about 3 months and 3500 miles ago.
It starts and runs very easily and well.
It kicks down and shift correctly (sometimes a little jerk on upshirt but really minor)
All my vacuum stuff works
When I drive the car it start and warms up to 1/4 the way above 80deg on the temp gauge and stays there if it matters.
Ok other than I can tell you that nothing seems wrong with how it runs and drives I am getting smoke on Wide Open Throttle. When I hit WOT to pass, it kicks down the trans correctly but it pushes out grayish smoke in a noticeable amount, it is not like a forest fire but it is more than I would call light.
Any thoughts on where I should start looking for the cause of this? It happens with 100% mineral diesel or when I run 80/20 mineral to Veg, either way and I run fuel treatment to aid with ULSD product.
Thanks in advance for any thoughts or help here....
