Hi all. I haven't read anything addressing this specific problem I'm having, need some help. My car makes a "chug-chug" sound at all power settings. It is more pronounced at 900 to 1800 RPM. I've done the following: changed all fuel filters including tank strainer, adjusted valves, checked compression, rack damper pin, removed injectors cleaned and inspected same, removed inlet to tubo, disconnected exhaust, nothing seems to make a difference. The turbo winds up fine. The noise seems to be coming from the intake as though it is restricted, kind of a flapping or chugging sound. I also have an 85 TDT, I've tried interchanging some of the parts, no luck. The TDT runs very smoothly (sewing machine-like). What can the problem be????? It's probably something vary simple.
