1983 300d rough idle, no power

I have a 1983 300d with 155k miles on the engine. I have a rough idle issue and no power on take off. slow as a old dog. I have replaced all diesel filters. in tank screen also. I replaced motor mounts and shocks. performed diesel purge, got lil better, but still same issue. Performed valve adjustment, checked cam lobes, ok. performed cold compression test, found 410 to 405 on 1,2,3,4 and 5 cylinders. replaced glow plugs and relay.checked turbo alda, correct and functioning. checked for blockage, found clean and clear. I really dont know what else can be causing this issue. HELP!

and did notice an improvement in pickup

Could be the lift pump but...

I don't recommend just "throwing parts" at the problem Suggest a little more diagnosis. Have you tested your fuel injectors for spray pattern and release pressure? Have you checked engine timing for chain stretch and set injection pump timing? Check for intake air or exhaust system blockage. Is your turbo spinning up ok? Good rule of thumb. Eliminate the things that don't cost a lot of money BEFORE going after the things that do.... :-)

I bought a used lift pump,

I bought a used lift pump, from
Mercedes source. No change. I installed new monark nozzle, with set release pressures. No change.
Turbo is spinning freely. Intake air induction. No restriction. Remove exhaust system
, no change. I found 5 degrees of timing chain stretch. Is that enough to cause my issue?

Especially if the injection pump timing is also off by 5 degrees. You will want to correct and check this problem before going any further with your diagnosis.... 3 degrees off on the camshaft timing and 1 degree off on injection pump timing is max.
