Challenges When Doing Valve Adjustment on Early Gas Engines

Special tools are needed but you can still run into problems

When working on engines 30 years and older you can run into some real challenges. This is typically the case when attempting to do a valve adjustment. This applies to almost all four and six clyinder single cam engines as well as the early V8's from the late 1950's up to the mid 1970's

Problem & Solution

Common among these chassis:

R107
W108 W109
W110 W111 W112 Sedan
W111 W112 Coupe
W113
W114
