Refer to the pictures below; the seal is removed using a standard seal removal tool by prying it out. When installing, you line up the seal carefully and set the pipe in place and lightly tap on the outer edge of the pipe from side to side, making sure the seal does not twist or tilt as you drive it back in flush with the casting.
