This is a must-have if you have a prized Benz or any car you don't drive often!! If you let any of your cars sit for long periods ( generally over 30 days) without driving them, you can ruin your battery, especially if you let it go completely dead. Many cheaper lead-acid and most AGM batteries cannot survive a few repeated deep discharges. If you have a collector car or multiple cars that you can not drive all the time the best way to save their batteries is to use a small battery tender/maintainer or float charger. This kit eliminates the alligator clips found on most battery chargers. Rather when installed it will provide you with a much safer fused permanent connection to your battery that can easily be unplugged and plugged back in. Watch the videos below for a full explanation. You will quickly see the benefits of this type of installation! Our kits come with a few extras and free video instructions. As seen on Cherry. These draw very little house current and will only put a very low amp charge into the battery ( under one amp). This maintainer WILL NOT WORK to charge dead batteries and it will not save a battery that has already been damaged. Use this to save your battery BEFORE it fails! It will keep your battery fully charged during long periods of storage.
