This part controls the function of your backup lights as well as the starter motor lock-out if you do not have the transmission selector in park or neutral. It is called the neutral safety switch and fits all 107, 114, 115, 116 and 123 chassis to 1981 (except 81 Turbo wagon).

If you are having problems with your back up lights or starter motor not engaging this part could be the problem. Do your diagnosis before ordering as this part is not returnable once removed from the box. GENUINE OEM PART - Aftermarket is not currently available.
