240D has a slight wobble at 35-45 mph

I have an '81 240D and it recently started to develop a slight wobble to it at around 35mph and it goes away around 45mph. Any suggestions. Don't beleive it is a tire issue.

Eliminate tire problem first

The problem you are describing is almost always a tire issue - Usually from the tire delaminating internally. Try rotating your tires front to back and set if that changes anything. Once you know for sure it is not a tire I recommend you take it to a good front end shop to check for worn bushings / suspension joints.
