Hi Kent,
Another question....this time in regards to a "rough ride." I recently installed the new Bilsteins purchased from you folks and I expected my ride to smooth out more. For the longest time I thought the relatively rough ride was due to worn-out lousy shocks. While I do notice some differences since putting in the new shocks, the overall feeling still seems bumpy and rough. I read in your alerts section about the 126's Chassis Front End Support Rod Joint Failure and some of the "clunking" noises you describe fit my situation somewhat, however, I find the clunking and other rough sounds and sensations to be all over but concentrated in the rear. Might my support rod joints be failing in the rear? I'm sorry to repeat myself, I just thought the new shocks would yield a smoother ride. Someone said it could be my ball joints. Any help and a point in the right direction is certainly appreciated.
