Thanks for the video on regulator removal, it is very thorough and helpful. I have a 78 300cd that all four windows need work. The drivers still operates although the motor is slow. the drivers rear window motor is shot, the passenger front window has a good motor and stripped gears on the regulator, and I have not taken apart the rear passenger yet, but the motor is operational, and the regulator (without looking) sounds like it is shot. My question is are the late model 123 regulators the same as the early? The look close, however I noticed that the part numbers are different. Mine are 1237202846, and 1267250411. Also, it appears that the motors are the same, but I am not sure if a late one has the same bolt pattern/wiring as an early one. I do not want to spend $500 without being sure. Any help is greatly appreciated!!! For now it is a wood block and some styrofoam to hold the window up!!
