What's a good process to remove diesel fuel and oil from the engine and engine parts including rubber parts like rubber mounts.

Engine Gunk and Pressure wash

Take a couple of cans of Gunk engine cleaner with you to the car wash. Soak the engine down with the cleaner, close hood, wash car - then come back using high pressure water and spray the engine. Small places you missed - use carb cleaner and compressed air.

Thanks Kent. By the way, I applied your spring cushion kit today, works very well on my 1975 300D. Also, your valve adjustment wrenches are awesome. I have one recommendation on your instructions if you want. Would be nice for new DIY to know which way clockwise or counter clockwise to loosen and tighen valves. I had 2 tight valves and 1 loose valve, but not off alot.
