Using Mercedessource kit in a 1980 300sd

Has anyone converted a 1980 300sd with the MS kit. I have done my 1984 300sd and just purchased a 80 300sd and the engine compartment is way different. I am refering to the physical layout specifically. Thank you.

What specific kit are you referring to? Glow plugs, injectors, turbocharger, ??

I have the SVO complete kit

I have the SVO complete kit on the 1984 300sd. The engine compartment on my 82 wagon and my 83 coupe all have about the same room. The 80-300sd that I purchased does seem to be more cluttere on the drivers side. I wii probably have to move stuff away if I want to use another svo kit. I am in So Fl and have been using wvo for about 7 years now so I am just trying to plan ahead. I figure if someone has converted a 116 model and had any hints I would be ahead of the game. I did not want to order parts and then have them sit in my garage with the rest of my collection.

You can see it is doable. Note how I moved the AC hose. Hope that helps. Kent
