82 300 TD-Instrument lights stay on

I am going crazy trying to figure out why the charge indicator, parking brake and brake wear lights on the dash are staying on? The engine runs fine. I searched the forums to no avail! Please help!! :(

Have you alternator output tested at an auto parts store. Failed or intermittent. voltage regulator can cause the lights to stay on

82 300TD. Why would all THREE lights be on?

If the voltage regulator is the problem, why would all three lights remain on? Wouldnt just the alternator light show that there is the problem?

I replaced the voltage regulator and the charge indicator, parking brake and brake wear lights on the dash are still on!! Is there a grounding strap perhaps?

Did you check alternator voltage with an amp meter

Be sure to check. Sometimes replacing a voltage reg may not fix a faulty alternator. If alternator tests ok then you may have a faulty circuit board in the instrument cluster. Try to find a good used replacement
