I have a 1991 300E. I just recently purchased this car from a lady, and it needs lots of minor TLC.
Right now I am trying to figure out the horn. I have looked in both of the manuals I purchased for the car online and there is no information on the horns.
I did see some information that suggested you replace them, and silly me I did just that. Also cleaned up the area where they bolt to the frame in front of the radiator. Cleaned the wires up. But no sound comes forth.
Any suggestions on trouble shooting? Everything else electrical works, so it is not the fuses. As they looked kind of old, I replaced all of the fuses in the fuse block.
Do I have to take the airbag out of the steering wheel next? Suggestions or help would be deeply appreciated..
