Hi,
I have a '76 240D. I want to bypass my original fuel filter and install the FM100 filter. My question: The two fuel return lines, one from the injectors (black lines)and the clear line coming from the Injection Pump, they connect into a banjo fiiting that is bolted down to the top of the original fuel filter housing. How do I bypass the return fuel lines? Do I leave the banjo fitting connected to the two fuel return lines, disconnect it from the original fuel filter and close the opening on either side of the banjo fitting so that the fuel still flows through it? Or is there a better option?
Thanks,
Keith
