Good afternoon
After a year or so of fooling around with a beater 190D, I bought a 1992 300D 2.5 Turbo with 162,000 miles. I've had it for two days, so this is a new marriage for me. The squawks so far are:
Sunroof won't open
Cruise control won't hold
Trip odometer reset to 000 but won't advance now. (Odometer works)
Kent advised me by private email to check my injectors, so that's high priority. I haven't had it long enough to know if the fuel economy is right, but it starts fine, idles smooth, and has as much power as i expected. In fact, the problems mentioned above are all I've found. I really like the vehicle so far.
The previous owners ran this on straight biodiesel and I'll do the same.
Any advice you all have will be welcome. I'm hoping for a long and pleasant life with this car.
