A dead short (one that instantly blows fuses) in your Mercedes can be one of the hardest electrical problems to troubleshoot and fix. I just recently filmed a video of a problem on a W124 chassis that was preventing all kinds of electrical things from working correctly. Right behind troubleshooting a short, is trying to find the source of a slow battery drain problem. And how about power seats and power windows that don’t work? A little knowledge will go a long way to give you confidence and will a few successes you will be ready to take on more difficult electrical gremlins.
